Additional Information

Open Season Changes - Enrollment Platform

Open Season runs from November 11th to December 9th, 2024

This is what we know:

Since the passage of the Postal Service Reform Act in April of 2022, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), in conjunction with the Postal Service, has been working to implement the Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program. The PSHB is a separate subset of the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program that will be administered by OPM.

Beginning January 1, 2025, Postal Employees, Annuitants (retirees), Survivor annuitants, those compensated by OWCP, and their covered family members, are required to get medical benefits through the PSHB Program.
